Dimapur, November 29 (MExN): The Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) had its second executive council meeting on November 28 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur. The meeting was attended by all the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The meeting began by observing a minute of silence in memory of Late Hokivi Chishi, the interim president and Late Tovi Kiba Joint Secretary of CNCCI.
The invocation prayer was pronounced by Yimtisunep Ao, Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Chairman Dr. Khekugha Muru gave a welcome address. He acknowledged the presence of all the Chamber of Commerce who have come from various districts by sparing their time to attend this very important meeting of business community despite their heavy schedule. He further said that their presence shows how concern the business community of Nagaland has towards common goal and objectives.
Dr, Seyievilie Mor, General Secretary presented the activities of CNCCI. This was followed by Solidarity messages from all the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where all the chamber of commerce and Industry extend their unflinching support and encourage each other to strengthen the CNCCI.
In the business session, the house adopted the constitution unanimously followed by the selection of office bearers. The house Selected Dr. Khekugha Muru as Chairman, Aben Nguille, M.Rai and Ruguo Kesiezie Desmo as vice chairman, Dr. Seyievilie Mor as General Secretary and Nuyi Hoshi as Joint Secretary.
After the business hour the Vice-Chairman gave vote of thanks where he thanked the house for reposing faith in the team and selecting them to hold the office.
