DIMAPUR, JULY 31 (MExN): The Naga Council has informed the public that the Old Naga Cemetery at Lake View Colony maintained by Naga Council Dimapur shall be under renovation for construction of ‘Funeral Prayer Chapel Hall’, which is to be donated and constructed by Yashitsungba Ao in memory of his late wife. In view of frequent cases of unauthorized trespass and common vandalism inside the cemetery, the gares of the cemetery will remain under lock and key under the custody of the caretaker at the site. All public requiring to enter the cemetery for family remembrance purposes are therefore requested to contact the caretaker (Mr Manen) for the same. The Naga Council further expressed deep appreciation to Yashitsungba Ao for the generous commitment to donate towards public and humanitarian welfare.
