TULI, MAY 16 (DIPR): A Public Hearing on environmental issue in connection with the revival and upgradation of Tuli Paper Mill was held at the office of the ADC Tuli on 12th May conducted by the Nagaland Pollution Control Board in the presence of Mokokchung Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Singh.
The DC asked the people’s opinion regarding possible pollution to which the people of the area voiced no such objections and stated that the revival of the paper mill will come as a boost to employment for the people of the area in particular and Nagas in general. The meeting was attended by T.T.C Chairperson and members of A.T.C Tzutikong and Merangkong Village Chairman and members from adjoining villages, representatives of NPPC, public leaders and elders.
