In view of Tuluni festival, the Aphuyemi Sumi Kuqhakulu (Pughoboto Area Public Organization) Kohima today conducted a social work at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School (RGHSS), Kohima. Around 500 people from 24 villages took part in social work.
It was organised to revive, revitalize and regale of their ancestral legacy on account of Tuluni Festival.
It was said that their ancestors had contributed towards Kohima district in many ways.
The reason behind organizing social work is that their ancestors represented the Sümi tribe and did voluntary social work in Kohima whenever called upon by the administration.
They did voluntary work in digging Kohima local ground, deputy commissioner office site, Rüzhükhrie GHSS site, Naga Hospital and so on.
L Khel chairman Ayie Yhome and his team also visited the social work site and interact with the Pughoboto area people.
