Pughoboto, July 10 (MExN): Pughoboto Sub-Divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) meeting was held under the SDPDB chairman and MLA Y. Vikheho Swu at DB’s court hall on July 10.
A DIPR report stated that after the power presentation by the PWD engineers on deployment of PWD labourers and engineers during the monsoon season the Chairman called upon the department to make a routine for the labourers in order to maintain roads particularly in the month of July and August. Swu further directed the engineers to provide labourers sector-wise for the management of the roads and also asked them to apply their minds as to how tactfully they can handle the roads with the help of machineries. He added that engineers should regularly visit the site where developments are being undertaken.
The Chairman also infirmed that Thuwuni-A festival would be organised which has been entrusted to Alobo Naga. The house also entrusted Forest Ranger to bring out a Pughoboto Green Belt or Zone Map for identification of potentials reserved areas and give a presentation on the same. Setting up of transformer (63 KV) in both the new ADC complex and new stadium was proposed to be forwarded to the concerned department. Work distribution for the forthcoming Independence Day was also distributed.
