Pughoboto SDPDB meeting held

Pughoboto, August 13 (MExN): Pughoboto Sub Divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman SDPDB Pughoboto, Y Vikheho Swu at DB Court Hall on August 13. SDO Civil, Tiayanger Jamir reviewed the last meeting.

The MLA informed the house that the ‘best village council’ award should be given instead of the “best village council chairman award,” which was agreed in the last meeting, stated a DIPR report. The MLA added that the criteria for the award are “to be decided by the administration.” SDO civil also asked the award committee members to see how the villages are performing, and to submit the report in time.

The house deliberated the agenda submitted by Dr Sukhato Wotsa for setting up a fire station at Pughoboto, Forest Reserve of Stag Sanctuary in Ighanumi, Tragopan Sanctuary at Lazami. The sanctuary which was discussed in the meeting, the MLA said that ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned village is required, therefore, he asked the forest department and administration to do away with certain formalities before the house takes up the agenda. The house agreed to remind through letter to the concerned department to come and identify land for setting up Fire Station. 

The house also approved to set up CDPO office in Pughoboto in the next financial year. It was also agreed to write a letter to the concerned department for posting of SDEO Pughoboto immediately.
