Pujara encourages youngsters on hard work, discipline & commitment

Dimapur, May 18 (MExN): India International cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara visited the ongoing BCCI sponsored coaching camp for Under-16 cricketers for the North Eastern region under the aegis of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Dimapur.  

The India Test batsman visited the camp, held motivational talks, conducted coaching sessions and had interactive sittings with the young cricketers, a press release from the Nagaland Cricket Association stated.  

Pujara highlighted to the youngsters that he had reached the highest levels of the game through sheer hard work, discipline and commitment and encouraged them to be fully committed. Any dream can be achieved through dedication and discipline, he exhorted.  

Interacting with officials of the cricket association, Pujara observed that cricketers from the North East were very talented and had tremendous potential in reaching the highest standards of the game.  

At present 25 cricketers from the North Eastern states of Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Nagaland are undergoing a coaching camp under a team of seven coaches and trainers from the National Cricket Academy at Dimapur. These 25 cricketers were selected from a pool of 58 cricketers in three day selection trails under the BCCI national junior selectors, the release stated.
