TSUK’s 29th general session held

The Thenyizumi Students' Union Kohima (TSUK) today conducted its 29th General Session cum Freshers' Social 2024 at the Auditorium Hall of Baptist High Higher Secondary School Kohima.
Addressing the session as the guest speaker, Besuhu Dawhuo, Registrar, Directorate of Agriculture, Nagaland, emphasized the importance of mindful lifestyle. He noted that punctuality is crucial for personal success and advised the students to value time accordingly.
He challenged the students to set clear goals and work hard to excel in life.
Dawhuo also encouraged the students to be obedient, uphold integrity, and remain rational as they navigate life in the state capital.
Thenyizumi Village Council chairman Medothi Rhakho shared greetings and expressed delight at the achievements and accomplishments of the students, which brought pride to the village.
He also challenged them to dream big.
Vedechiyi Rokha, Horticulture Inspector and Nutsulu Dawhuo, Assistant Professor, Department of Education also addressed the session.
TSUK president Avolu Theyo delivered presidential address while general secretary report was presented by Kehuzhoyi Resu. Speech on behalf of the freshers was delivered by Khrubulu Swuro.
Presenting education & statistical report, Kekhruzo Kezo informed that 39 students passed HSLC exam during the year, including 32 students in HSSLC. Seven from Thenyizumi community cleared NPSC.
The programme was led by TSUK vice president Besuta Vero.
A new team of TSUK for the tenure 2024-25 will be led by Zhokhosa Dawhuo as President, Vehuto Kezo as Vice-President, Avone Swiho as General Secretary, Akhone Nienu as Assistant General Secretary and Nutsolu Dawhuo as Banker among the others.
