Pungro, June 8 (MExN): Pungro Sub Divisional Development & Planning Board (SDDPB) was launched on June 8. Chairing the meeting, ADC Pungro and vice-chairman, SDPDB, Mhomo Tungoe acknowledged the Government for approving the SDPDB on January 21, 2022.
During the meeting, a DIPR report stated that SDPDB Pungro approved the proposed agendas which will be forwarded to Government for implementation. The agendas include creation of Village Guard (VG) post at all the newly recognized villages under the Pungro subdivision; 21 villages under Pungro and Kiusam circle to establish Government GPS schools; Shorih colony Pungro to establish one Government Primary School; To set up Information Assistant (IA) IPR at Kiusam and Khongsa Town; Khongka village to re-upgrade from GPS to GMS; Kiusam circle to have separate RD Block.
NLA Dy Speaker and chairman Pungro SDPDB T Yangseo Sangtam and representatives from civil societies also spoke during the meeting.
