Pungro, January 10 (MExN): The monthly Sub-District Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) meeting of Pungro was held at Cultural Hall, Pungro on January 9. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of S Kiusumew Yimchunger, Advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Relief and Rehabilitation, with Vice Chairman ADC Pungro, Vekusheyi Rakho and EAC Yitachu Thur in attendance.
According to a DIPR report, the meeting began with a welcome note from ADC Vekusheyi Rakho, expressing gratitude to members and encouraging to share on constructive ideas. Advisor S Kiusumew emphasised the importance of regular attendance during the meeting, urging members to actively participate and ensure their presence without fail.
The meeting commenced with a review of previous agendas, and the discussion covered various aspects related to both on-going and future initiatives.
EAC Yitachu Thur proposed a new agenda for the construction of the SDPDP Conference Hall. After the SDPDP meeting, the Advisor treated all members to a meal. Subsequently, a meeting of Heads of Offices under Pungro sub-division took place at the Cultural Hall to discuss preparations, workload distribution, and strategic planning for the upcoming 75th Republic Day celebration, ensuring a coordinated and smooth execution of the event.
