Dimapur, March 18 (MExN): A Sit and Draw competition was held at NEZCC complex organized by National Book trust of India (NBT) on Friday. As part of the ongoing Dimapur Book Fair, earlier NBT also organized children’s activities like recitation and creative writing competitions. The winners were awarded with books as prizes. The Book Fair ends on March 19.
A press note issued by Som Kamei, IPS, Director, NEZCC informed that the ongoing North East Spring Festival at the NEZCC Complex will feature a “Puppetry Show by the artistes from Rajasthan and a Theatre show (English Comedy) by Stage Fusion, Guwahati from 4.30 p.m. onwards on March 19, 2011. Also, as part of the collaborative events during the Spring Festival, the National Book Trust, India (NBT) will organize a Panel Discussion on “Oral Literature: Tradition and Modernity” at the NEZCC at 12.00 noon and the ongoing Poetry Festival organized by the United Tribal Society will organize “Screening of Documentary Films on Child Rights”.
