Put delimitation on hold, Sümi Hoho appeals Governor

Zunheboto, May 29 (MExN): The Sümi Hoho on Friday submitted a representation to Nagaland Governor RN Ravi who is also the Centre’s interlocutor for Naga peace talks, to keep the delimitation exercise in abeyance and ensure the conclusion of Naga Political talks at the earliest.

In a statement issued by President Hekhushe Shikhu and General Secretary I Nikheto Jimomi, the Hoho stated that one of the major demands by the negotiating parties in the peace talks, is an increase of legislature assembly seats, of which, if the Government of India consents; rearrangement of the present constituencies have to be carried out.
