Dimapur, May 9 (MExN): The 162nd birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore was celebrated by Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on May 9. The programme started with garlanding the portrait of Guru Maharaj and Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore, stated a press release from PVHSS. Special guest Kamala Kanta Paul, a social worker offered tribute to Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore along with homage to late Manik Bhattacharjee, the founder Secretary of the Vidyapith and his associates. He elaborately discussed the life and contributions of Viswakabi RN Tagore. Welcome speech was delivered by PVHSS Principal, Monoj Bhattacharjee. The highlights of the occasion were songs, dances, recitation and other items.
