Dimapur, July 11 (MExN): Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Dimapur held a one-day teaching orientation programme on Monday with O.M Prakash Rai and Bijay Dey, Block Resource Person, Teacher Trainer, Education Deprtment, Karbi Anglong.
Secretary of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj and Principal Monoj Bhattacharjee were also present, according to a press release from the school. A total of 73 teaching faculty members attended the programme which was held in two sessions. Topics including Right to Education (Act) 2009; Digital Technology in teaching methodology; Alternative ways of corporal punishment; and understanding the professional ethics, were covered during the programme. Vote of thanks was proposed by Principal Monoj Bhattacharjee, the release stated.
