Dimapur, January 23 (MExN): Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur observed the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in the school auditorium on January 23.
PVHSS Principal, Monoj Bhattacharjee in a press release stated that the programme began with the Universal Peace prayer sung by the teachers and students, followed by garlanding the portraits of Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj, founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Swami Vijayanandaji Maharaj, founder president of PVHSS, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose by Swami Biduranandaji Maharaj and floral tribute to the portraits of founder Secretary, Late Manik Bhattacahrjee, Late HP Sarkar and Late KP Nandy.
PVHSS Vice-Principal, Ashok Kr Ray and Pritam Debnath, student of Class-11 delivered short speeches on the significance of observing Netaji Jayanti. Patriotic songs were presented by Ganga Das Chowdhury and Gitashree Bhattacharjee (A/T) and her group. Swami Arindamanandaji Maharaj also delivered a speech during the occasion.
