Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): The Pongidong Village Students’ Union (PVSU), 53rd annual general session was held on December 29 and 30, 2010 with the theme ‘New Venture and Self-Reliance’ at the community hall, Pongidong. The Union general secretary, Chumchamo R Ovung in a press release informed that Nchumbemo Humtsoe, S. I DEF Mokokchung was the speaker on the first day. District Soil & Water Conservation Officer Tuensang James Ezung was the chief guest on December 30, 2010. He urged the gathering to utilize their potentiality and dedicate in their field for a better society. Thungdeno Tsope, Trainer of Teacher (TOT) EBRC, Wokha was the theme speaker. The session concluded with a thanksgiving service at Pongidong Baptist Church (PBC) with lecturer C. Zachamo Lotha, Indian Institute of Missiology Trichi, Tamil Nadu as speaker.
