DIMAPUR, MAY 9 (MExN): The All Nagaland PWD Field Workers Association has written to the Nagaland State Chief Secretary asking for full implementation of 67% quota vacancies for work charge employees service regularisation. In a letter to the Chief Secretary, the association stated that many of the work charge employees have been serving in the PWD for many years and still several genuine W/C employees await regularization under the scheme for 67% quota reservation against normal vacancies. It further observed that many fresh appointments are being made by “higher ups” in the 67% quota. The association appealed to the State Government not to make any more new appointments and utilize all vacancies for regularizing W/C employees as per seniority, division wise, in consonance with the decision of the Government order vide memorandum No. AR-3/Gen-201/2009 dated Kohima 17th March 2015. “We have enough appeals already on this matter. This is the final appeal, after which no further appeal will be made but compel us to go for justice as per the judgement and order of Hon’ble High Court,” the association stated.
