DIMAPUR, JUNE 6 (MExN): In view of the ongoing construction works at the Dhobinullah to Thahekhu road, the PWD (R&B) has informed that the road stretch from Signal Bazaar Junction to Thahekhu Gate will remain closed from June 7 to June 12, from 6:00pm till 5:00am. A press note from the Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B), Dimapur Division, informed that in addition, heavy vehicles will not be allowed to ply the road stretch at any point of time till further instructions. The public have also been informed that the road construction cannot be done by working on one lane and opening the other and vice versa “as this will result in compromise of quality at the construction joints between the two lanes.
