Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): Queen Mary Higher Secondary School Annual sports meet began today, March 23, 2011 at ME School Ground, Mokokchung Compound. Commandant 2nd NAP, Alichen, Lima S. Jamir who was the chief guest on the occasion declared the meet open by hoisting the flag and lighting the Olympic torch amidst jeers from the queemarians. In his inaugural speech, Lima S. Jamir called upon the students to make best use of games and sports along with academic learning saying it helps us to stay physically and mentally fit. Earlier Reverend Father James Mlakushiyil, Director, GMHSS delivered introductory and welcome speech.
