Quality Assurance Orientation at Wokha

WOKHA, October 6 (MExN): District Level Orientation training on National Quality Assurance was held on October 5 at the Conference Hall of the Chief Medical Officer, Office Wokha. The programme started with an introduction about Quality Assurance by DPM (NHM) Matsung and welcome address delivered by Dr. Tumchobeni Dy. CMO. Resource person Dr. Thungchanbeni Patton, DPM (QA) Wokha, highlighted on the importance of quality assurance in the health sector and also presented on the overview of National Quality Assurance Programme, assessment protocols and scoring system. Senior Medical Officers and Medical Officers from 5 blocks attended the training. She encouraged the participants to make Quality Assurance a continuous process and thereby aimed to uplift the services and facilities of the health unit.
