Mokokchung, January 15 (MExN): The Queen Mary Hr Sec School, Mokokchung Class 12 students opting ITeS (Vocational) subject along with three teachers Jason, Aien and Tali embarked on an educational field trip to the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Chuchuyimlang on January 13.
The purpose of the visit was to provide students with an immersive learning experience in the field of electronics and information technology, the school informed in a press release. The group, comprising 42 students and three teachers, was welcomed by the principal and staff of NIELIT.
NIELIT is renowned for its cutting-edge research and development in electronics and information technology. The students had the opportunity to witness first-hand the latest advancements and innovations in these fields. The staff briefly explained about the components of computers & the latest technology IoT (Internet of Things). The principal of NIELIT highlighted about the activities being done by the NIELIT and their various courses available for the students.
The students participated in interactive workshops conducted by NIELIT professionals. These workshops covered topics ranging from basic electronics to the latest trends in information technology. A highlight of the trip was the hands-on experience in NIELIT's state-of-the-art laboratories. Students were able to experiment with advanced equipment under the guidance of experienced instructors.
“The educational trip to NIELIT proved to be an enriching experience, aligning with our school's commitment to fostering practical learning opportunities,” the press release stated while conveying thanks to Superintendent of Police for providing a police bus for transportation.
