KV Lumami, Nagaland University teachers, students and participants during the interschool quiz competition to celebrate Parakram Divas held on January 23.

Lumami, January 23 (MExN): The KV Lumami, Nagaland University, hosted an interschool quiz competition to celebrate Parakram Divas, honouring Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, and promoting Pariksha Pe Charcha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative for exam readiness.
A total of 55 participants from KV Lumami, JNV Lumami and GHSS Akuluto took part in the competition which was held on January 23.
The quiz, based on the TV series Bharat Hai Hum, began with a motivational speech by the principal Amit Kumar Gupta and featured episodes on freedom fighters like Mangal Pandey and Rani Lakshmi Bai. Winners received certificates and cash prizes, while others received participation certificates.
According to a press release from NU PRO Peter Ki, KV NU Lumami was established in the year 2017. The Vidyalaya is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) under the Ministry of Education and affiliated to CBSE with an endeavour to facilitate children of Nagaland University Employee, Central Government Employees, Defence Personal and employees of autonomous bodies who are liable to be transferred from one state to another state to receive uninterrupted educational facilities with easy accessibility to any Kendriya Vidyalaya in any part of the country.
