Mon, December 8 (MExN): Inter School Quiz Competition on ‘Substance Abuse’ was held at DC Conference Hall Mon on December 8. The competition was organised by District Level Committee for Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, Mon to create awareness on the ill effects of substance abuse.
Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS encouraged all the participants to be ambassador of substance abuse free society in their respective schools and in all community.
First prize was won by Yingmei M Konyak and Lemngang Konyak of St Mary High School Mon, second prize was won by Niangmai Konyak, and Yingkhao of St John Hr Secondary School Mon and the third prize was won by Peter Leezushu and Yanboh of Kongjong Hr Secondary School Mon.
The same quiz competition is being held in all the ADCs Hq of the district which will culminate with the district level competition, stated a DIPR report.
