Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): Chiephobozou Sub-Division celebrated the Republic Day with Advisor Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency, MLA Temjen Jamir as the Chief Guest.
Delivering the Republic Day speech, the Chief Guest said that the nation has an enormous diversity of regions, religions and languages and it provides each individual, group and region with equal opportunity. Nagaland State is firmly on the path of a social and economic transformation, said the chief guest and further congratulated all the NGOs, Church Organization, members of the civil society and the forum for Naga Reconciliation. He expressed confidence that united effort and cooperation of the people will bring about a final resolution to the Naga political problem that has eluded a solution for the last six decades. He said that the motto of “Peace for Development and Development for Peace” is not a mere slogan, but an article of faith for this Government. Focusing on capacity building, the chief guest said that this year has been devoted to development of entrepreneurship among the talented youth and further announced that the Year of Entrepreneurship will continue in the coming year.
