Kohima, September 30 (MExN): Office of the Child Development Officer, Chiephobozou celebrated Rashtriya Poshan Maah at Zhadima Village, Kohima on September 28. The celebration started off with a street play on Nutrition and Nourishment by Anganwadi children, workers and helpers under the leadership of Agatha. The programme was chaired by Avibu Mepfuo (Supervisor).
Hebou Rio, CDPO, Chiephobozou in his keynote address emphasized on the importance of nutrition and healthy food habits. Zhadima Village Council Chairman, Kesovilhou Chüpuo spoke about the upcoming awareness programme on Rubella Measles. Food Safety Nagaland, Health and Family Welfare Department illustrated about safe and nutritious food. They gave live demonstrations about testing adulteration on food items using simple kitchen tools and techniques. Chichanbeni (Supervisor) delivered vote of thanks. Sangmai C. Imlong, ADC (Chiephobozou), Dr. Thejavinuo K. Keditsu, M.O. Zhadima Village attended the programme.
