The recent trend of rates of commodities in markets of Dimapur exhibits the absence of any agencies to regulate prices. Most of the shopkeepers charge price exorbitantly and prices differ from one market to the other. The Municipal council and other agencies which have been tasked with powers to regulate prices of commodities should monitor the markets regularly so that unscrupulous traders do not take undue advantage of consumers.
