Ministers, Advisors,MLAS, Govt Officials and others see off outgoing governor at Dimapur Airport 

Dimapur, September 15 (MExN): The outgoing Governor of Nagaland RN Ravi departed from Nagaland today after ceremonial guard of honour at Dimapur Airport. 

The Governor, who reached the airport around 1:50 PM, was accorded the honour by the 9 NAP (IR) Battalion, HQ Saijung, a DIPR report informed. 

Among others, Nagaland Ministers Pangyu Phom, Tongpang Ozukum; Advisors Zhaleo Rio, Tovihoto Ayemi; MLAs Dr Chotisu Sazo and Azheto Zhimomi; Commissioner Nagaland, Rovilatuo Mor; Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan; Commisioner of Police Dimapur, Rothihu Tetseo; ADGP ( Admin) Renchamo P Kikon; DIG, Training Center Dimapur, Aotemsu; and hosts of Government officials, GBs, village council members bade adieu to the outgoing Governor.

Earlier on September 14, the Nagaland government organised a state farewell programme at the State Banquet Hall, CM’s Residential Complex, Kohima for outgoing Governor.

Ravi, who assumed the charge as the Governor of Nagaland on August 1, 2019, was been appointed as the new Governor of Tamil Nadu on September 9. Concurrently, he had been functioning as the Interlocutor for Naga peace talks since 2014.

A Press Communique from President's Secretariat on September 9 then informed that Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Assam had been appointed to discharge the functions of the Governor of Nagaland in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements are made.
