NEW DELHI, MARCH 15 (MExN): NSCN (IM) General Secretary, Th Muivah today met the Government of India’s Interlocutor to the Indo-Naga peace talks, RN Ravi in New Delhi. During the meeting, Muivah introduced General Kholi Konyak to Ravi.
A press note from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) informed that Muivah introduced Gen. (Rtd) Kholi as “a veteran freedom fighter and one of the most consistent Naga leader and expressed immense happiness that Gen. (Rtd) Kholi has come to be part of the peace talk.”
According to the press note, “Ravi also warmly welcomed Gen. (Rtd) Kholi to the peace talk and conveyed appreciation on his decision to be together with Th. Muivah and Isak Chishi Swu for the greater interest of peace.” Ravi further reportedly “appreciated that Kholi has taken the right decision to be part of the peace talk with Th. Muivah, one of the finest Naga leader.”
The MIP press note added that Gen. (Rtd) Kholi also “expressed his happiness to meet RN Ravi for the first time after hearing many times about him.”
