PHEK, OCTOBER 2 (MExN): The Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) team in Phek district has been actively participating in the ongoing Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan (SNSPA) health campaign since September 17. The team is led by Dr Avono Medoze, RBSK Medical Officer, and comprises GNM Vekupolu Vese, ANM Tshewekhro and RBSK Coordinator Kotsou Kapfo.
The team has been delivering a wide range of essential health services and conducting intensive activities across the district. Services provided include screening for anaemia, hypertension and oral cancer, general health check-ups, vaccination drives, health education sessions, referrals for advanced care and distribution of essential medicines.
The campaign has so far covered multiple government health centres, schools and Anganwadi Centres (AWWs). The RBSK team has reached 10 schools covering 1,011 students, 42 AWW centres benefiting 1,001 children, and Netaji Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya girls’ hostel with 53 adolescent girls.
