Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): Voicing confidence in himself, BJP candidate for 1 Dimapur – I A/C, Tovihoto Ayemi has said that he can now face any situation concerning the welfare and development of the people having gained experience during the last five years.
“Having a new leader would take another five years to get trained and now that I have a well planned road map for the people, I humbly appeal the voters to cast their franchise in my favour to usher in peace, prosperity, development and a stable government,” Ayemi said while addressing a public meeting at Ward No 22 Burma Camp on Thursday.
State NDPP Vice President, Lipok Pongen recalled the shaky government during the last five years and viewed that it had rendered the legislators helpless in working for the people. “However, this time with a strong NDPP-BJP alliance we have a good chance to form a strong government to properly work for the people,” he said and appealed the electorate to join hands and vote Ayemi to power.
Former DMC Councillor, Hokuto Zhimo emphasized on peaceful elections and threw his weight for Ayemi and appealed the voters to support him. Former DMC Councillor, Kuhoi Zhimo sought to clarify misconceptions that voting for a BJP member/candidate did not mean surrendering Christian principles and instead insisted that sincerely working for the welfare of the public in any party mattered.Later, the Candidate addressed another meeting at Ward no 3.
