Faculty and staff of NU SAS Medziphema during the reception programme held in honour of Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dipak Sinha on June 6.
Kohima, June 8 (MExN): Nagaland University’s School of Agricultural Sciences (SAS) campus in Medziphema held a reception programme on June 6 in honour of Prof. Dipak Sinha, newly appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor of the campus.
The event was chaired by Dr. Anthony V. Richa, Deputy Registrar, NU SAS, and began with an invocation prayer by Prof. R. Razouneino Zuyie. Prof. L. Daiho, Dean of the campus, welcomed the gathering.
Short speeches were delivered by Akato Chishi of NUNTSA-M and Prof. Paulin Alila of NUTA-M, representing the student and faculty associations respectively. Additional remarks were shared by Prof. N. Tiameren Ao, Prof. J. Longkumer, and Dr. Sewak Ram.
In his address, Prof. Dipak Sinha expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and said he was glad to be working at the Medziphema campus, noting the cooperation and hospitality of the staff and faculty. He said he envisioned a future marked by a productive and positive work culture where all members function together in harmony as a team. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Richa.
