From Gaming to Regrets: Dream Postponed, not Denied
In an age when technology can delight us at any time, many students and exam takers find themselves postponing task, delaying preparation, and wasting significant time that could be spent on long-term goal and academic performance. AI is a fantastic tool, but when it becomes a daily distraction rather than a source of progress, it can gradually separate us from discipline, relationships and meaning of life. As we accept technological development, the larger challenge may be to remain fully human rather than becoming more artificial.

Is There Meaning in Your Life?
The chaotic life driven by virtual influence that is AI gaming, where this can lead to identity crisis of meaning in life.

Aleksandar Filipovic defines “A video game is always a competition with someone or something, either and opponent, a rival or an adversary.”Kathleen Walch also said, AI gaming is known of using algorithms and computational techniques by creating responsive, adaptive and intelligent behaviors in video games. AI has a rich history with different types of games, they not only learn to grow to defeat human but develop to be more realistic content. Today video games use AI to promote computer graphics and create smarter opponents for players to battle.

What’s Holding Us Back?
AI presence and capabilities should make us reflect deeply and prompt us to ask questions about its effects. The human world is filled with chaos, confusions and uncertainty in day-to-day life which confronts us by the world of AI. What begins as a game becomes an addiction which opens doors to harmful habits, where some end up seeking medical care and spiritual restoration. Different games had been developed like self-play game, multiplayer game or online games etc. So, “we must ask ourselves; how will AI’s evolution affect human perception, cognition, and interaction? It became crucial to explore the emerging issues and tensions AI introduces into our understanding of humanness.

Artificial intelligence is transforming the landscape of gaming, making more dynamic experience ever before. AI impact has brought identity concern in another phase of Psychology. Today also talks about our relationships of how excessive AI gaming interactions and emotional dependence as companionship can affect by reducing human communication, family dynamics and social skills which leads to more isolation and uncertainty of meaning in life. Do all these AI games really contribute to creating interconnectedness with fellow human being or do they create more isolation?

Logo Therapy: Meaning in Life
Logo Therapy is coined by Victor Frankl, which means ‘meaning’. Human beings have a need to seek meaning in their lives. Being human means being responsible for fulfilling the meaning at the same time being conscious and responsible. Meaning ought to become the object to be pursued which is individual subjectivity and not pleasure and power or prescribed by others.

Freedom of will
Frankl uses the term existential in three ways, first it refers to existence itself, second existential refers to the meaning of existence and third existential refers to striving to find meaning in personal existence. Existential vacuum, where one leads to inner emptiness, weakening their sense of purpose. And Existential frustration, ‘high psychology’ human beings are naturally transcendent, aiming beyond ourselves, but one can face difficulties when this pursuit is blocked.

Will to Meaning
Human being are motivated through a will to meaning and search for meaning is the primary motivation in life. Human need something to live for, as human needs to encounter other people to reach out for meaning to fulfill. This will help individual reclaim their humanness by realizing their freedom to choose meaning in life beyond virtual life to restore identity and purpose in life.

Seeking Meaning as God’s Image Bearer
Even if AI can give conclusions, predictions and made decision it does not possess self-awareness where one lacks in ability to reflect on its role in this world. This impact can be a call for us to reclaim our humanness and reflect the image of God where we are increasingly being influenced or shaped by the AI.

Using this logotherapy to strengthen our understanding of being created in God’s image by seeking responsibility to guide and restore back from misusing stewardship through disconnection with God and family, digital addiction life and losing themselves in AI gaming, which make us risk our identity and relationships.

Faith with Purpose
Dan Scott adds by saying ‘faith in one’s purpose can keep one alive and even cause one to flourish as one walks through hell.’ As God’s image bearer can adapt this to remind us no matter what shortcoming one encounter, having faith in God will lead us to the purpose of existence and with this purpose it can lead to reclaim humanness in life by reflecting and acknowledging the irresponsible life.

AI Positive Potentialities
While AI also offers incredible benefits in different field like education, health care, communication etc. It also owns profound challenges to the core of human life being interconnected. And we also have to acknowledge AI positive potentialities and belongingness in meaning seeking.

God has created us special with the ability to think creatively. This can also affirm that not all AI games can be harmful if one uses it purposefully and critically. Let AI be a good tool for us to discover meaning and respond to our vocational call like we are made in the Image of God who is capable of learning, adapting and responsible to our call.
