Red Ribbon Club FAC and MTBA youth collaborate for HIV/AIDS Awareness

Mokokchung, March 24 (MExN):  In an endeavour to combat the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS and educate the youth, the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) at Fazl Ali College (FAC) in collaboration with the Medical Youth Fellowship MTBA organised a Community Extension Service on the theme, “Peer Sensitisation on HIV/AIDS”

The March 24 event at the Medical Fellowship Church aimed to raise awareness and foster understanding among younger generation, informed at press release 

RRC Nodal Officers Yashikala Jamir and student members of FAC and community youth members attended the programme. 

Speaking on the occasion, Jamir noted the importance of peer education in addressing the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS and stressed on the pivotal role that young people can play in fostering supportive environments and to make informed decisions regarding their well-being.

Sentienla Kichu chaired the programme and the RRC student members actively participated at the proceedings of the event.
