A refresher training for State and District level Master Trainers 2024-2025 under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) was held today at SIRD Auditorium, Kohima.
It was organized by Water and Sanitation Support Organization (WSSO), Public Health Engineering Department (PHED).
The program started with an introductory session wherein Er. Gwatilo Tep, Mission Director SBMG, PHED delivered keynote address and officially launched the training program.
A presentation on “Overview of Jal Jeevan Mission” was made by Er. Yanger Pongen, Executive Engineer, Technical PHED.
The formal training session covered various topics relating to Grey Water Management, Plastic Waste Management, Faecal Sludge Management, Features of SBM (G) 2.0: Guidelines, Solid Waste Management, IMIS, Geo Tagging & Mobile App Usage, Importance of Water Quality at Household Level & Community Level, Stakeholder Identification Analysis were delivered by Ashale, District coordinator & IEC Consultant, Dr Chonchibeni Ezung, Hydrogeologist, Er Khaoshai Lam, SDO PHED, Er. Yehkiho Sumi, SDO PHED, Ellies Yanthan, WASH Consultant and Thepfulie, State IEC Consultant.
This was followed by Group Work and Group work Presentation.
The training session ended with a concluding remark by Er Wonjanbeni Odyuo, Executive Engineer, WSSO PHED.
More than 70 Officers and staffs attended the Refresher Training for State and District level Master Trainers 2024-2025.
