The office of Registrar of Cooperative Societies Nagaland today accorded farewell to Wepe Ritse on his retirement.

In his speech, Ritse said “I am contended that I have given my best to the service of the public and there is no regret”.
“I started off my service career around 35 years ago and over the years especially towards the later part of my career, I started having big dreams and visions for the department. Some are fulfilled but yet some could not be fulfilled. I wanted to see a vibrant cooperative movement and successful cooperative societies in the state,” he said.
He said that one of his visions was to see the apex cooperative organizations flourishing, generating revenues for the state and providing employment opportunities to the educated youths in the state.
Meanwhile, Ritse urged the officers and staffs to continue to serve people without looking at their tribe or backgrounds and to continue working unitedly as a family.
The programme was chaired by L. Akato Sema, commissioner & secretary, cooperation department.
