It is really surprised to see the write up of Eno Kaka D. Iralu, Ato Kilonser FGN which appeared in local dailies on March 4 claiming to settle the Indo Naga Burma issues on behalf of the Nagas. That the Nagas or the GOI are really waiting to see that a hon’ble and amicable settlement should be arrived at over the decade political conflict of Indo- Naga Burma issue till date. However, either side had failed to settle and come into a logical conclusion for the last 60-70 years though trying their level best. It is therefore, I the undersigned on behalf of the whole Villages Chief of Nagaland requested Eno Kaka D. Iralu to bring an amicable and a final settlement to the Indo-Naga Burma conflict within the 300 days (i.e on or before the end of Dec.20th 2017) as he have assured before the Nagas. Failing of which, he or the FGN government should not disturb the Naga political issue and Peace Accord which talk is going between the GOI and NSCN-IM. Moreover, if he fooled the Nagas who had completely sacrificed their lives under the Banners of NNC so shall questioned him and his FGN Government at any moment and the onus should be held by him only. Further, it is highly questionable as to why he did not solve the Indo-Naga Burma conflict within the last 60/70 years just after conducting the Naga plebiscite in 1951. Don’t blame others if you failed on your parts to do your duty for the Nagas common goal as no one had stopped you to do so in the earlier days.
On NNPGs issue
For the so-called 4/5 re-united NNPGs factions earlier the Nagas have recognized the whole Naga underground irrespective of factions as Naga National Workers as because, all of them were from the offshoot of NNC only. However, after declaration of 4/5 factions re-united from 7th March 2017, the so-called 4/5 united factions Working Group (WG) are not worthy to claimed as Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) as because, their claimed is only falls within the territorial boundary of the present State government of Nagaland.
The present Nagaland state government has got its Independence in 1960 through the 16th Points Agreement and map was also drawn for future guidance. And as such, the NNPGs (4/5 united groups) have no moral rights to called themselves as the NNPGs, more or less their activities are confined within the State of Nagaland and working with various state based NGO’s in the like of NTC and CNTC only. These NNPGs have declared to work with the Nagas of Nagaland only and if it is true, the Angamis can never give co-operation to them as because, the Angamis did not sacrificed for the Nagas of Nagaland only, but for the whole Nagas irrespective of territorial boundaries. The Angamis have gave our everything for the cause of the whole Nagas under the banner of NNC and for which the Angamis will not give anymore co-operation to such NNPGs in the near future if they fail to realize themselves and work for the whole Nagas common cause and come into their original path. Now the 4/5 NNPGs should not disturb the Naga political issue unless they joined in the peace process.
‘OR’ if any factions of Naga National workers is willing to works for Naga common goal as endorsed by the Nagas, join the Naga political talk in the process of Peace Accord signed on 3rd August 2015 and settled the Nagas Political final settlement as amicably with the GOI or you are requested to contribute your valuable suggestions within a reasonable period of time before the Nagas through publication as to how the age old Naga political issue can be solved as ones and for all. Otherwise, the Nagas are not in the position to go for any further journey. DO not send anymore message or greetings please unless the Naga political final settlement is arrived at. Come outside from your comfort zone and joint in the talk to see the outcome of the framework agreement and bring amicable settlement to the Nagas. DO not have more hope that GOI will have separate talk with every faction of Naga undergrounds.
Therefore, Nagas, after the Nagas have sacrificed their everything into the hand of India for their common goal, the Naga underground, though it be from any factions, you should not become so cheap by issuing unreasonable propaganda. Do not fool yourself and others also.
