In reference to the aforesaid question posed by the writer in Naga Blog on the 1st February 2014, I would like to moderate the public discussion as follows:
According to the historical account of Naga National Movement, the philosophy, “Nagaland for Christ” started in the middle of the sixties perhaps to achieve Naga Independence in the name of Christ as the Underground Cadres were mostly Christians in religion. In due course of time, the name of Christ was widely misused by them to commit crimes against their fellow Nagas in the form of extortion, day light robbery, illegal taxation to sustain their satanic activities in the noble name of Naga Independence. In this context, the Bible called the devil a thief as recorded in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy”. Hence, although the Underground factions profess the name of Christ theoretically, practically, they practice the nature and activities of Satan.
The Bible prohibits the misuse of the name of the Lord as recorded in the third commandment of God, “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will hold guiltless who takes His name in vain” (Ex. 20:7). It may be recalled that the Israelites misused the name of God and his character of salvation. They used the name of God in magic, in substantiating truth through the use of oaths and profane utterances. Consequently, they were severely punished by God in the wilderness. The initial promise of God to reach Canaan – the land flowing with milk and honey in forty days multiplied into forty years during which majority of them died. Likewise, the Nagas are facing the same fate today. Their struggle for independence is running into for sixty seven years. Still then there is no sign of improvement. Instead of improvement, the situation is growing from bad to worst as exhibited at Mukalimi, Zunheboto in December, 2013. Is this not punishments of God due to the misuse of the name of Christ? Still today, they are not repenting from their crimes, sins against God and men. Instead of repenting and turning away from their crimes and sins, they are multiplying to extort, force, threat, molest, rape, abuse their fellow beings at gun point doing the works of Satan. Remember, when you accuse others by one finger, four of your fingers are pointing at you. Hence, you can never escape from men and from God no matter what you say.
Dear national workers in particular and the Nagas in general, to escape from the judgment of God there is no other way but to humble, yourselves, pray and seek the name of God to receive forgiveness of God for you and your land. The word of God once again remind you, “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sins and heal their land” (2nd Chro. 7:14). Therefore, let us arise and go to the Father like the prodigal son to be forgiven and be healed.
