Dimapur, July 24 (DIPR): The third phase immediate cash relief was extended to the flood affected people of Dimapur on July 24 through District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to various wards/ colonies/ villages. The beneficiaries are Zeliangrong colony, Sachu colony, Selouphe, Imkongleden, Public ground colony, S.M. Colony, Walford colony, Changaizang colony, Police colony, Rangailong colony, Vilhune colony, United colony, Pishikhu, Ghonivi and Phuhoto colony.
Till date, immediate cash relief has been extended to 46 wards/ colonies/villages under Dimapur district, besides food items, drinking water etc. District administration has expressed appreciation to all the DDMA members and NGOs for the contribution and support rendered during the crisis in Dimapur district. A total of 26 lakhs (20 lakhs from CMs relief fund and 6 lakhs from SDMA) was given as relief to the flood affected victims.
