Kohima, June 2 (DIPR): Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, C.J. Ponraj has in a notification stated that the Government of Nagaland has constituted a Committee in pursuance of the Cabinet decision intimated vide Memorandum No. Cab-2/2008 dated 4.07.2009 to seek the views of the different sections of the people of Dimapur so as to explore whether there is any need for changing the name of Dimapur District. In view of the conflicting opinion on this matter, the government has decided to put on hold the functioning of the Committee till further order.
