CHÜMOUKEDIMA, SEPTEMBER 10 (MExN): The Rengma Cultural and Film Society Ltd (RCFS Ltd) Tseminyu held its meeting on September 6 at Sovima, with a strong turnout of 90% of its members. The meeting addressed several key issues and outlined plans for the society's future.
One of the primary resolutions was to increase fundraising efforts to support the society's activities. The members also committed to continuing their social activities aimed at aiding the needy, a press release issued by the Society informed.
An election was conducted during the meeting, where new office bearers were selected by a show of hands. The newly elected office bearers for the 2024-2029 term are A Shyerhunlo Lorin as President, Ntsenlotep as Vice President, Dr. Sohile Tep as General Secretary, Ringo James as Vice Secretary, Hisinle Rengma as Treasurer, and Samuel Tep, Alesha Jemu, Japhet Magh, Ruchunhile Lorin, and Ruchunyhunle Kath as Members. The Advisor positions were filled by Stephen K Rengma and Agwa Lorin.
The meeting was concluded with a mass prayer followed by lunch, reflecting the society's commitment to unity and shared goals.
