
TSEMINYU, June 28 (MExN): The Rengma Hoho has expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the peaceful and exemplary conduct of the Urban Local Body (ULB) election in Tseminyu.
In a press release, the Rengma Hoho extended its appreciation to various departments, agencies, Civil Society Organizations, candidates, political leaders, GBs, and the residents of Tseminyu town for their unwavering support. "We express our sincere thanks to the Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu, and the Returning Officer, Tseminyu, for their proactive administrative system and maintenance of law and order," stated Tesinlo Semy, President of the Rengma Hoho.
The organization also commended the Superintendent of Police, Tseminyu, and his team, along with the security forces, for their effective role in ensuring a strong security system and quick reaction force during the election. "Our appreciation goes to the Superintendent of Police and his team for creating a secure environment that facilitated a peaceful election," added Mr. Shatilo Kent, General Secretary of the Rengma Hoho.
Special thanks were extended to State Observer Elizabeth Ngully and her team for their active participation and vigilance. The Rengma Hoho also praised all ULB candidates for adhering to their pre-election commitments and political party leaders for maintaining the code of conduct, peace, and tranquility. "This ULB election to the Tseminyu Council has exceeded expectations of a peaceful election and set a historic example," noted the press release. “May we, the Rengmas, remain steadfast in this spirit and model, continuing to lead by example in all future democratic election processes.”
The Rengma Hoho acknowledged the crucial role played by the Presidents of the Seven Ranges and their teams of office bearers, whose presence and unwavering support were instrumental in the election's success. "Once again, we extend our gratitude to all the GBs and residents of Tseminyu town for their active participation," said Semy.
