Zunheboto, November 9 (DIPR): Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) on November 8 approved renovation of Circuit House under LADP Common Pool and forwarded the proposal for construction of District Civil Hospital. The dilapidated conditions of Circuit House and District Civil Hospital, Zunheboto was highlighted by Parliamentary Secretary, Information and Public Relations (IPR), Khekaho Assumi during the monthly DPDB meeting held on November 8 at the DC’s conference hall here.
The meeting also reviewed the proposed visit of Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya to Zunheboto. In this regard, Parliamentary Secretary, Soil and Water Conservation, Pukhayi Assumi, who chaired the meeting, asked all HoDs to attend the function without fail. ADC, Zunheboto, Nungsangmenla Imchen also asked all HoDs to prepare a report of their departmental activities during the Governor's visit.
Regarding HoDs who remain absent, Pukhayi said strict disciplinary action will be initiated in future against the absentees. Pukhayi and Khekaho also requested the legislators under Zunheboto district to contribute their ideas and policies by attending the DPDB meeting.
