DIMAPUR, JULY 27 (MExN): Renowned Actor/Comedian and Artist, Lokesh Kumar in collaboration with Youth Ministry of Dimapur Province (DBYES) under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Dr. Peter Salew conducted a series of creative workshops at various educational institutions in Dimapur, Zubza, Peducha, Paomata, Tungjoy, Tadubi, Punanami and Mao Gate from July 5-18 benefitting both students and teachers.
A press release issued by DBYES informed that the workshop focused on nurturing creativity, honing artistic skills, and empowering the participants to excel in various artistic disciplines.
Lokesh stressed on the importance of teachers being facilitators for their students, guiding and nurturing them to reach their true potential, finding the time to spend with each student on a daily basis individually. Through various activities and games namely - river of life, metaphor activity, number game, tree of life etc, he made the participants realise and draw out lessons from each activity.
He also encouraged the students to realise the importance of setting goals in every aspect of their life and having fun in the process. Fun, according to Kumar, should be had like pickle and not food, just sufficient to build up an appetite, the press release stated.

Through his creative workshops, he continues to inspire and empower teachers and students, encouraging them to explore their potential in the world of arts and life skills, the press release further maintained.
For the past 16 years, Lokesh has been actively involved in training teachers and students in various arts, dances, and dramatics, with a focus on life skills and capacity building.
