Reorientation meeting and training held in Mokokchung

Mokokchung, November 21 (MExN): A reorientation meeting on Ayushman Bharat: PradhanMantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) health scheme was conducted at Chief Medical Officer Conference Hall, Mokokchung on November 20. 

A report from the Chief Medical Officer Office stated that, Dr R Chubala Aier welcomed the participants and encouraged them to actively participate in the Ayushman Bharat health care service.

The District Coordinator Limatenzuk (AB-PMJAY) delivered a presentation on Ayushman Bharat and its key features. He stated that AB-PMJAY is the world largest insurance/assurance scheme fully financed by the Government. It is a cashless access to health care services for the beneficiary at the point of service in the hospital. He also explained about district wise number of individual card issues and ECHP performance.

The programme was attended by the Nodal Officer in charge of AB-PMJAY and Ayushman Mitra of the empanelled hospitals of Mokokchung. 

Another training was conducted on November 21 at the Chief Medical Officer Conference Hall, Mokokchung for the SMOs, MOs and ASHA coordinators. They were trained on NCD population based screening.

The programme was chaired by Dr Kibangkumba, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, who briefed about the NCD screening at Block level.

Dr Kilangwabang trained the trainees on community based assessment checklist (CBAC) for early detection of NCDs and Tuberculosis (TB).
