Zunheboto, April 4 (MExN): The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Akuluto has issued a notice directing residents of V.K Town to vacate properties falling within the stretch of the ongoing NH-02 road widening project.
According to the notification issued by ADC Akuluto, the road widening work under the Doyang–Izheto stretch will be carried out in V.K Town. Residents whose houses or buildings have already been compensated and officially marked by the PWD (NH) Department in coordination with the district administration on March 19, 2026, have been given 45 days to vacate the premises.
The notice instructed affected residents to remove all personal belongings and structures within the stipulated period to facilitate smooth execution of the project.
It further requested the PHED and Power Department to undertake necessary utility shifting works simultaneously.
The directive has been issued for information and compliance by all concerned residents and departments within the affected NH-02 stretch in VK Town, the notice stated.
