Resolve political problem: NGBF’s message to GoI through rally

Dimapur, December 10 (MExN): The Nagaland Gaon Buras Federation (NGBF) has stated that the rally it has proposed on December 12, Wednesday, intends to convey to the Government of India (GoI) that “delaying and prolonging the political dialogue without any plausible reason would be considered a serious political error and lack of commitment.”

The NGBF, a body of “hereditary guardians and custodians of Naga villages,” stated that it “believes that GoI and Nagas must resolve the long pending political problem.”

A press release from the NGBF President, Shaleem Konyak, and General Secretary, Shikuto Zalipu, informed that the “proposed rally would be a peaceful one by GBs and prominent civil society leaders, which would be held in all the District Headquarters in Nagaland including Meluri and Tseminyu sub-division.” It called for prayer, support and cooperation for the rally.
