Response to NNC (N/A) Claim

It has been claimed in the local papers that, some NNC members did not attend the meeting held on 29th March 2011 fearing ‘capital punishment’. This claim by the so called NNC (N/A) is so pathetically false and just a notion from their imagination. As stated through a press release by NNC Lotha Region Advisor, Eshithung Ennie, the concerned members did attend. In fact, it is the other way round. Kiumukim was the absentee and there is no doubt about the credibility of the information issued by Eshithung Ennie. And on the vindication against V. Nagi, it must also be recalled that, he has been serving for the national cause since a long time with integrity, preserving the movement’s core objectives. He has been pivotal in speaking out for the cause of Naga politics without making any effort to capitalize out of it. Instead of playing a ‘double game’ as claimed, he has been investing his own resources – time, energy as well as materials till now. It is puzzling why some vested interested feels qualified to comment on a movement as old and revered. NNC, since its inception since 10th February 1946 has been what it is now and will remain so without any offshoot names like the so called Non-accordist or (N/A) which incidentally is the brainchild of Kiumukum Yimchungru, a novice in national matters. He started the NA group in 2011 in order to make personal gains while exploiting the prestigious banner of Naga politics and at the same time, fleecing the Naga public off of their resources.  The public therefore, are requested again to be wary of this group headed by an immature leader with questionable records and activities. The so called NNC (N/A) group it seems, are hell bent on tearing down the image of dedicated members in particular and the Naga cause movement in general in addition to their threats of dire consequences against the authentic and sincere members of NNC with an effort to carry out his activities unhindered.
