Kohima, April 25 (MExN): Advisor, for CAWD and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo on Thursday tells Naga society to restore and uphold the good tradition of honesty at all cost stating that nothing overtakes honest and to help each other.
He was addressing 4th session of Khamo Clan get together held at Lozaphuhu village under Phek district stated a press release from the organisers, stated a press release received here. While pointing out that the world is in a very competitive world, he also urged his clansmen to be hardworking and led a prayerful life. Asserting that “forgiveness is a most difficult thing” he said, “When a person forgives, it releases a person from all bondage.”
Khamo also called upon the gathering not to let them disturb and mislead the society with their degrees and education nor with their wealth disturb the churches or with their position disturb the government but be an asset to the society.
Stressing on the need for transformation and restoring the good Culture of the Naga culture he urged the Khamo clansman to be trailblazers in this regard in order to positively contribute to the society's progress.
Meanwhile, Vilelie Khamo, Class-1 contractor in his speech shared his life story and exhorted the members that nothing comes easy but through hard work and dedication. He also exhorts the members to acknowledged God for the blessings of leadership in the person of Kudecho Khamo, Advisor CAWD & Taxes which was the long cherished and advise the gathering to be united and support the leadership and continue to pray for the success and to prolong Advisor Kudecho Khamo's leadership.
Speeches were also delivered by Khriesavilie, Chorhitso, Vecüta and Niekhruzo while a research report was also presented by Siekuo. A folk song was presented by Lozaphuhu village and Phusachodu Village.
Earlier welcome address was delivered by Vekhozo and the programme was led by Vetacho.
