A RETROSPECTION

The concluding points of my suggested road map for Naga unity released in 2008:-

1.    All existing Naga National Governments be conglomerated into one provisional Naga     People’s Democratic Government.
2.    There is no question of surrender or bowing down to one another.
3.    Induction of leaders and workers in various organisations into the Democratic Government is     based on recognition of the genuine services and on oath of allegiance irrespective of their     past and present standing.
4.    All of the leaders and workers of the Democratic Government become colleagues and they     belong to the people and the people belong to them so that hate is replaced by love, fear     replaced by joy, tears of agony is replaced by tears of love, leveling gun at one another is    replaced by hug.
5.    A day of fasting and prayer is declared which is to be observed by the whole population of     the Nagas wherever they are wherein the people confess their sin to God and pray.
6.    A day is declared by the Government for rededicating lives to God and for forgiveness and     reconciliation.
7.    The ongoing political talk is to be strengthened and supported by the entire population of the     Nagas and the Team is to be strengthened by the Democratic Government so that     Negotiation Team may be with the solidarity of the Naga population behind them and in     their support.
8.    A day of thanksgiving to God be observed by all Naga Tribes and Villages so that thanksgiving     be given to God and token gift is given to the poor, sick and destitute or between Tribes and     Tribes.
The day of darkness for the Nagas is gone and the day of victory and peace for the glory of God has come. Let us rise up and avail the victory in Jesus Christ.
