Revenue on coal in Nagaland

Minister for Geology & Mining V. Kashiho Sangtam today stated that the revenue earned by the department under coal stands Rs. 88, 41, 275.00 during March 2017 to March 2018 and Rs. 81, 44, 350.00 during April 2018- March 2019.


Replying this to MLA Dr. Imtiwapang Aier, the Minister furnished the details as; Mon- Rs. 17,72,000.00, Longleng- Rs. 25,12,500, Mokokchung- Rs. 39,34,650.00, Wokha- Rs. 4,20,000.00 and Dimapur- Rs. 2,02,125.00.


And from April 2018-March 2019 stands at; Mon- Rs. 22,62,500.00, Longleng- Rs. 9,47,500.00, Mokokchung- Rs. 40,68,500.00, Wokha- Rs. 7,34,600.00 and Dimapur- Rs. 1,31,250.00.


On revenue under minor minerals during March 2017-September 2017, the minister said that no revenue was earned during that period as the department was yet to implement the Nagaland Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 2004.


Revenue earned by the department from October 2017-March 2018 stands at Dimapur- Rs. 8,99,999.00 and Wokha- Rs.  1,50,000.00.


Revenue from April 2018-March 2019 stands; Dimapur- Rs. 7,65,140.00, Wokha- Rs. 6,15,000.00 and Mon- Rs. 20,000.00.
